Sales Coordinator/Customer Service

Applicants will have good phone and people skills along with the a working knowledge of Word & Excel. Responsibilities include screening clients and setting appointments, follow through with clients, assist in proposals and sales paper flow/processes, and taking customer service calls/conveying needs to Sales Representatives & Production staff. Mowing Foreman
Vande Hey's is a full service Landscape Company providing quality service since 1950.

Vande Hey's has an excellent opportunity to join our growing team of professionals in our Landscape Management Division.

Primary responsibilities include safe and efficient completion of mowing, grooming and trimming of projects.

Also other Site Management duties such as lawn Nutrition, insect and disease control, pruning, aerating, seeding and planting may be needed.

Qualifications of the ideal candidate will include: Great attitude, hard working, and a passion for the green industry and a job well done. Previous mowing and landscape experience preferred. Other Landscape Maintenance experience a plus.

Pesticide Applicators License and Commercial Drivers License preferred - or ability to obtain.

Seeking an individual who has specialized landscape skills and/or a variety of skills including: brick/paver installation, landscape construction of retaining walls, fire pits, fireplaces, and outdoor kitchens. Installation of planting beds and plant material. Variety of equipment knowledge for grading and lawn installation. Responsibilities include leading a crew for efficient completion of projects with a positive attitude. Qualified candidates will have previous experience in landscape installation and a CDL license or the ability to obtain. Certified Landscape Technician preferred

Swimming Pool Technician

Pool Technician

We are seeking an excellent in-ground Swimming Pool Technician to provide additional installation and service support for our rapidly growing Swimming Pool division.

Successful candidates will provide service to full fill customer services requests such as, including but not limited to, water temperature controls, equipment install and repair, chemical levels and testing, seasonal openings and closings, product recommendations to customers, etc.

Seeking a hard working, self motivated individual with the skills and abilities to handle all aspects of our pool division. Ideal candidate will have at least two years of prior pool experience and certification is preferred.

Landscape Architect
The Vande Hey Company, Inc. is a full service Landscape Company servicing the landscape needs of Northeast Wisconsin for over 60 years. Vande Hey’s has the following positions:

Landscape Designer and Landscape Architect

We are seeking a skilled landscape designer and a landscape architect to join our team. Our markets are primarily high-end residential homeowners and custom home builders. Commercial and municipal designs are done on a less often basis. Experience in high-end residential design and construction is preferred.

Skills Required:

  • Firm foundation in computer design applications (AutoCad, Lan Cad, & Adobe Creative Suite) 3D visualization and rendering (U vision & Google sketch up )
  • Strong conceptual thinking with an ability to communicate design ideas graphically
  • Strong understanding of hardscape construction & landscape construction detailing
  • Sufficient knowledge of plant materials & basic horticultural practices to assist in planting design for small to large scale projects
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of construction documentation
  • Strong work ethic and ability to take ownership of projects & responsibilities
  • Ability to manage design process from, site analysis, measuring, establishing grades and bench marks, conceptual to finial designs, detail drawings, and presentation packets. 
  • Strong organizational skills & professionalism; must finish tasks within times allotted
  • Cost estimating experience; gathering, calculating & compiling take off data for use in bid proposal estimates; responsible for city permitting submissions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; working with designers, sales reps & project managers.
  • Leadership Skill with proven record
Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Landscape Architecture or Design is required; dual major or minor in Horticulture is a plus.
  • Recent experience in a landscape design build company preferred.
